Laser Oxide Removal

Laser cutting leaves a thin oxide skin on the cut edge and surface. That oxide has to come off before the part will take paint, powder, or a clean weld. A rotary brush head strips the oxide skin without damaging the part, so laser-cut parts move straight to coating or welding. For a laser-heavy shop, this is the step that makes the finish stick.

How to Choose

For laser-cut sheet, a rotary brush head removes the oxide skin evenly across the whole surface where a flat abrasive belt would struggle. The 32 and 42 Series rotary brush machines are built for exactly this, and the 22 Series handles it with a brush head as well.

For low-volume or specialized parts, the manual grinder removes oxide with the right pad or brush under operator control. Tell us your laser mix and we will match the head to a clean, coat-ready surface.
