Bending and forming turn flat blanks and straight stock into finished, three-dimensional parts. The right machine depends on what you are shaping: flat sheet and plate, bar and profile, or plate rolled to a radius.

Which bending machine fits your work.
Bending flat sheet and plate to an angle is press brake work. Size the brake to the heaviest, longest part you run, then pick the drive: hydraulic for heavy and varied work, servo-electric when high volume and the energy bill matter.
Curving and straightening bar, tube, and structural sections is bender work. Profile benders roll the section to a radius through three driven rollers, while horizontal ram benders push and straighten heavy structural profiles, including rail and shipbuilding sections.
Forming a box or enclosure in volume is a job for a panel bender, which folds flanges on all four sides with minimal handling. Rolling flat plate or sheet into a cylinder or cone is roll bending, done on a three or four roll machine set to the radius you need.
